Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of sending every year 1 month to hospital posting influenced me to choose this course. It was prepared in a way to get through every subject in detail but covid badly affect our batch. In teaching methods every thing they teaches us wants to be an evidence based and it should be shown. The exams are conducting for every 2 to 3 months for 2hrs. And the final exams was for 3 hrs which is a little less time for completing exam.
Internships Opportunities
The companies like episource provide internship in medical coding and regulatory affairs for bpharm. And for pharm d students the NRI GENERAL HOSPITAL is providing internship in clinical research and article reviewing. The articles will be helpful in public health management
Placement Experience
My plan was to go abroad. From 5th year of pharmd are eligible and avg of 65 to 70% will get. Many Companies like vipro, aurbindo, sun pharma will visit and provide 2 to 3 offer for each student. The highest package was 500000 and avg package was 2 to 300000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees was 43000 and bus availability fees was 13000 per year. At present government provide fees in 3to4 installments for students who are under free seat. The compulsory charges that are to be paid are miscellaneous fees every year of nearly 2000 to 5000 and exam fees of 4000. The scholarship for people who are staying in hostel will get 20000 as vasathi deevena. The campus was providing employment for old age people who are willing only,in gardening and cleaning only.
Campus Life
Every year annual day celebration will be held for 2 days in campus. Based on special days related to pharma and social concepts the pamphlet distribution and walk will be conducted. And every year in association with hospital ,medical camp will be conducted in nearby rural areas. The library in our college contain variety of journals (around 250 subscribed) and different publications books. The sports will be conducted as intra murals every year. And inter college sports participation will also be provided. There will be no student run groups. The college only provide different clubs like anti ragging and cultural activities and thete will be of good impact with students behavior. The classroom was provided with projector , chair with desks, blackboard and all electrical facilities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was provided with good and peaceful environment. Iam staying in Kamma Jana Seva Samithi, where different college people are staying. The food quality was very good and tasty. The registration is only for kamma category people and it will open applications when everyone was joining in colleges. The fees was very affordable and it was 30000 per year. The room was provided with good shelf, dustbin, cloth storing bins and chairs to study, bed and electrical facilities.
Admission
The person should complete intermediate exams and write entrance exam (EAMCET).Based on rank we can have counselling and cut off rank was 25000 for this course. And there is an reservations category also that will all given in counselling. Application fee charges from 150 to 500. Application dates will be released by government. The exam will be basic level and 3hr of time. The difficulty that I found was to find whether there is an availability of seat is present or not. That process should be developed
