SIES Nerul: A students perspective

I was inclined towards taking BMS because of its comprehensive aspect. As per my personal future aspirations the course is very relevant for me. The topics that the course includes helps you prepare for the real-world. Eg. Making Research Paper, giving PPT, each topic and the teaching method makes you engrossed in the subject and increases your curiosity to learn more. If studied well, exams are definitely easy to medium. Teaching methods are appreciable, their methods are interactive, teachers are available all the time to clear your doubts.

The college's placement cell gets notified by the companies of their requirements for students for internships and placements. Likewise the placement cell on regular basis forms pr messages of the same with all the necessary information and circulates among the student. Students can then after reading all the information select if they want to go for that internship or placement. Some interships have stipend and some do not, but they are worth the certificate provided by the companies.

The college has a placement cell that gives announcement of different internships and placements offered to the students by different companies. Internships and placements are offered throughout the year apart from the campus placement at the end of TY. A high percentage of students have been placed by the college placement cell.

You can pay the tuition fees in one time during the admission process or pay in installments. College makes provision for payment in installments for the students who are unable to pay the fees in one go. From time to time there are many scholarships provided by the college and government, for the students to avail. Scholarships depend upon the students marks and earning income of their parents. College also has a placement cell which keeps on giving information about internships and placements available.

This college will definitely give you a feel that co-curricular activities and social work is important. There are many college committees and clubs which keep pn holding events from time to time throughout the year. The annual SIESONS fest is famous all over Navi-Mumbai. Each department also has its own fest. Students learn leadership and management skills by hosting such events. Sports is also given priority in the college and annual events are organised by the clubs. The college also has a Library which includes a variety of books, journals and computer for use hy the students.

The application process was quite simple and hassle free. It was eligible for students of class 12 from any stream. After applying on Mumbai University Portal, apply to respective college website or take offline form from the college and submit to the respective course staff. Application fees is 100/-. There was no entrance exam. For BMS the cut off was 75% from any stream in 12th. There are SC, ST and south Indian quota which can be easily availed by the students. As such no improvement is needed in the admission process
