Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am an MBBS student. Very recently our curriculum was upgraded from the semester system to the Competency Based medical Education which includes skill development and early clinical Exposure. New curriculum like AETCOM and interaction with patients make it easier for us to get acquinted to the patients early. We give various exams throughout the year and it's tiring. But personally I feel it's effective for me as I keep on procrastinating my lessons. So frequent exams helps me to cover up my backlogs .

Internships Opportunities

4

Various internship facilities are available. After completing MBBS we complete our internship from the GBP hospital. Other facilities are asli available for the paramedics in pathology, microbiology and biochemistry departments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees varies every year. Like I paid 75K on the 1st year and 59K in my second year. Various scholarships are available though we don't get the money on time. The undergraduates do not get any stipend precisely. Stipend are provided to Interns and post graduates

Campus Life

2

We don't have such festivals in our college. It's just a freshers party arranged by the seniors for welcoming their juniors and a convocation for the graduates. About the technical facilities we have enough in the labs and the classrooms.

Admission

I appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test in the year 2021 and went through the counselling procedures. I am a SC candidate and my cut offs were quite less as compared to the general candidates. The counselling process is quite long and hectic and long. So improvements in the process will be appreciated in the future

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS gives a hope of job security first, also the fee structure is bit less as compared to the other private medical colleges in India, there is a strong hospital setup along with our college gives us varied experiences in learning medicine, improvement should be made in the field of extracurricular activities which is bit less there , there are 3 exams in a year and along with a university exam afterall. Difficulty level is average

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital, there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.
