Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to the mark and no old things are being taught to us like some other engineering colleges in India. Internal exams have been held after each month in a semester and one semester exam was also held at the end of the semester.
Placement Experience
The students become eleigible for placements from the 7th semester when companies start coming to the college. Last year the average package for CSE in the college was around 13 lakhs per annum. The package gradually decreases for other non tech streams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the college through COMEDK is 2.64 lakhs per annum but the fee for BMS College of Engineering through KCET is around 1 lakh per annum which is more affordable. Management quota is also present in the college.
Campus Life
The campus is not too big. It has a 10-acre campus which also includes the Law and Architecture College. The main attraction is the UTSAV fest which is the cultural fest of the college which is held in May each year. A technical fest is also held at the end of each year.
Admission
The admission process through COMEDK was a little bit delayed. The cutoffs for COMEDK in 2023 increased a lot in comparison to 2022.COMEDK exam was more easier than the JEE exam and a total of 180 questions had to be solved in 180 minutes.
