- The environment of the college is really great .it's a zero ragging institute.it offers great variety of subjects for the students and also the faculty is Highly qualified.
- The fest are a good time to be in college.various clubs organize different fest like eclectika,aavartan ,e summit etc.
Dislikes
- The college campus is small there are not much hangout places .sometimes it becomes boring
- Hostel are a big issue in nit .only 30%students get it ,also which based on their cgpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well designed and are in accordance with real world usage .the college has good faculty thas has cast experience and talent in their respective fields . The syllabus sometimes become hectic due to its large coverage but overall it is good .there are 2 semester in a year.each semester has a mid semester and end semester exam in a gap of 1.5 months .
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are available in college.but you have to be hardworking for it because there is huge competition for it .many students go to various companies for internship and their stipend is usually around 20-30k.many people go towards it companies as they are easy for internship.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester.the placement rates in the college is good .most of the students in the college are placed in good companies. the average package is around 12lpa and the highest package of this year is of 55lpa. Many good companies like visa,Adobe,delloite visit campus every year for recruitment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee's I around 1.5lpa for a whole year. There is not much increase in the fees every year.it is around 5-10% Every year. those whose family income is under 5 lpa, get remission of 2/3rd of the total fees. And those whose family income is under 1lpa have complete remission of fees.
Campus Life
The nit campus is 100 acres. It's a lush green campus. It has two gardens to hang out and have some relax time. There are several fests organized in college by different clubs and committees. usually, an event occurs in a gap of 1.5-2 months. The events are really good and well-managed. Central India's largest fest 'Eclectika' occurs in the month of February every year. The library of the college is good with an ample amount of books covering various fields .
Admission
The individual should have qualified jee mains exam .he must have a good score to get admission in nit Raipur. The admission process involves registration in josaa counseling .in the josaa counseling he will get a seat according to his rank .all the application form will be available in nitrr website.there are reservation based on the category/caste of the person as well as pwd students also get reservation.
