Course Curriculum Overview

2

Specific aspects of the curriculum - 1st year is General management and in the second year you have to choose a specialisation between HR, Marketing and Finance. So, this is what intruged me and made me choose the course. Moreover, the choices of subjects in Finance interested me. How well the course prepares you for real world- I would say that Derivatives and Investment analytics and portfolio Management are more linked to the real world aspects of Finance. Suggest areas for Improvements in the course curriculum - Except a few professors in the college, the rest of the lot does not know how to pass on the knowledge. Frequency and timing of exams - You can give the exam anywhere between the month of November and January. The process and other criteria for admission - First there was the NMAT exam which had a cut off 200 for NMIMS hyderabad then there was the Group Discussion and post your result of GD there was Personal Interview, and based on your perfomance of the personal interview you would get the joinig letter for the college. To settle in the good financial sector and to improve my skills. The student ratio is less in MBA courses. The faculty is less supportive. The faculty is well educated with Ph.D. and Doctraits, Method of teaching should be changed. There was no time for preparation for term exams. It was quite difficult to pass.
