Great college and Excellent Faculty

Overall its a nice place to study for Graduation and post-graduation. Quite satisfactory.

I liked the selection procedure , which was quite tough to crack and hence only cream candidates were selected. The competition for selection itself was quite high. I had a talk with the previous batch students they were very happy with the placements and the companies which were coming for hiring were offering nice profiles not just in sales and marketing but in finance and HR also.

The course curriculum is as per the standards, in addition to the course curriculum we were groomed on various other things like Guest lectures, guest faculties were keep coming from the corporate world to give us an insight of the corporate world. We were taken to the various factories to see how work is done there like been to Maruti factory etc.

Yes, our college has a Training and placement department (TPD) which work all the time in helping us get the best Training and placements possible. But unfortunately, we did not get any stipend during our training.

Job Opportunities were kept coming, Most of the students got placed from the side of the college itself in good companies as per our specialization itself. The salary part was also fair and satisfactory to the most of the students. I must say it worked well.

The college had lots of events and fests etc, i remember very few though : 1. Dandiya Night during Navratre 2. Intercollege Fest where all the JIMS colleges compete together 3. Khsitij 4. Jazzy B came once for some fest 5. Mr. and Ms. JIMS - which was based on talents etc.

At my time , it was in the budget of upper middle class families. but now i think it is quite expensive. The Fee structure should be reformed in my opinion so that good candidates can also come who cannot actually pay that much of the fee. But as i said when i was there it was not that expensive.

I have no idea of scholarship, as I have not got any, I don't know any of my friends also who have got any. But i have taken loan all by myself. College didnt had any role in this.

The life on the campus was fun, happy and cheerful. Although the college doesn't have any playground or any ground for that matter to the students to chill. But has an amazing library with the double story filled with books. The college has 3 Computer labs for the students to study.

At my time the college did not provide any hostel facilities or Mess Facilities. The students were living in the PGs nearby, the college then was not having any bus for pick up or drop off or hostel or mess. We had a small paid canteen which was paid and good for nothing, students were going out to eat something.

Yes when we joined the senior students were helpful but afterwards we all got busy then had no time at all to seek for their help or to network.

We had a Semester system in the college followed by two sessional examination in each semester. The exam papers were set by the college itself and checked by the faculty itself. The standard of exam was quite high tough consists of lots of case studies etc.

The admission process faced by me was : 1. Shortlisted on the basis of my MAT Score 2. Group Discussion round where 200 candidates were selected for a batch of 120. 3. Personal Interview with the Dean and Director of the college. 4. Submission of Fees/ Documents. 5. Joining of the batch

This is the best part of the college, the faculty of the college is unbeatable. we had not just the cream regular faculty but also various senior visiting faculties were coming to college to give us the insight of the corporate world. The faculties were not just helped us in our academic matters but overall they were helpful.
