Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and usefull to present real world. We have curriculum as what the companies are looking for, and we are focused on the content which the company is satisfied. We have a semester for 5 months and in that we have a mid semester exam and end semester examinations.
Internships Opportunities
Our college is providing intership to the students on the basis of grade they are getting. Every student is able to get a minimum of 2 intership by college. Nearly 30 percent of students in a class is getting stipend during period of intership.
Placement Experience
In nit raipur the placements are good enough. Most of the students are getting placed in top multinational companies. Recently most of students got PPO from microsoft and linkedin with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have tution fees of about 140000 nearly and hostel fee is nearly 60000. In college we have nsp scholarship in that only 12 persons from SC caste will be selected. I'm not receiving any scholarship and I'm borrowing money from money lenders and my uncle is helping to pay college fees and hostel fees
Campus Life
Our college celebrate india's largest cultural fest. I have done volunteer work for team sanskriti( cultural club of nit raipur). Our college is little bit lagging behind having good infrastructure. We have enough play ground for playing games and sports. We have team samar for conducting sports competition every year.
Hostel Facilities
In nit raipur only 30 percent of people get hostel. We are having shortage of hostels for boys. College will give the hostel on the basis of merit to students. In hostel we have a good mess and nice environment in mess. We are provided with 24hours internet services in every room.
Admission
I got admission through jee mains test, as a reserved caste My closing rank in nit raipur is 96000. In which I got 89000 rank. Benefits of reservation is that most of the scheduled caste people are getting exposed to nit colleges.
Interview Experience
I have written jee mains test to get admission in this college. I have prepared the complete syllabus of class 11 and 12th respectively. The exam paper was designed as a option based questions. I prepared lot of tricks to answer in less time.
