Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken mining engineering.its a nice branch and everything is practical here.internship are also offered at the institute for better understanding of the field and practical world. exams happens twice a semester ,mid sem exam ,end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
Being a mining engineering I will be getting internship fromthat field like from coal India limited .iam a first year student so I hadn't experienced internship process to clarify in detail. Tasks will be given during internship to build are confidance of the work.
Placement Experience
Fourth year students are offered placements from various companies.many known companies like coal India,Wipro , Microsoft companies etc. highest package of the campus goes around 55 lpa and average package of the campus is around 11 lpa. 75% of the students of college get placements. iam also planning for the placement in last year
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a st category student and less income my tution fee is zero,and other service fees is about 16000 rupees. Many scholarships are there which can be filled as NSP ,cg govt. scholarships ,medhavi and many more . Hence financial issues won't create much problem for studies.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is good enough, college life is also very good not only in studies but extra curricular activities are also there like sports,dance and many more. There are lots of clubs and commitee for different things like nrityam for dance ,raaga for singing,and so on. NIT Raipur organize a culture fest called eclectika every year which is the largest cultural fest of central India which happens in February,apart from that aavartan,samar and many more events also take place .many clubs and commitees are there which helps the students gaining self confidence and improve their knowledge and personality.
Admission
For getting addmission at NIT students need to qualify jee exam after 12th , criteria is that the student should have scored 75% in 12th exam. Applications can be filled online . reservation scheme is there for ST SC PWD candidates,cut off varies every year as the competition being harder every year .JEE Mains exam will be conducted two times in a year in a gap of two months .as the exam being conducted in online mode so some issues can be faced there which needs to improve otherwise everything is very smooth process.
