Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mainly geography influences me. Using its application in real-world problems. We are using software like ArcGIS and solving the problems using the applications of geography. Personal laptops are necessary as the lab does not provide a large number of desktops to the students which has to be improved. The exams are easy if students are regular in the Class and have general knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our course last semester is for an internship it's necessary for all. Either we have to send emails to the companies or the faculties will help us get into the company. Dissertation is compulsory for all the departments. Topics can be selected by ourselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee varies with each category. Not much hike in the fee was experienced. The education fee is quite low compared to other universities as this is a central university. About 35000 is for one year along with the lab fee. There are a lot of scholarships available ews for the general category, obc postpartum scholarships, SC St scholarships along with that single girl child, and top two rank holders also get scholarships under the central government. The campus provides placement opportunities for various departments.

Campus Life

3.5

There are more than 28 departments on the campus, each department conducts its own feasts. Mainly for earth science school geoid is held at January. Library has a vast variety of books for every department, and online journals, and research papers are also available. The faculties are good and updated with the technologies providing good guidance for the students. Sports and culture events are undertaken in February and March months apart from that university team is also there .students social groups regional social groups are there in the university as the university is very diverse in its culture.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are 2 hostels, pg, ug in which 4 sharing, 6 sharing, and 2 sharing are available. Rooms are quite clean with individual cupboard space and burgers. The food provided is somewhat regional, chapati is available for both lunch and dinner. The quality is the same as all hostel food Chicken is provided every Sunday. Also buttermilk. Registration for the hostels is available on the university site. Rooms are available in the nearby town but it is advanced to use hostels as it is quite cheap compared to the Pgs.

Admission

The student has to be from a science background as it is easier. Student has to pass an entrance exam, the application form will be available from the NTA site. The application fee varies depending on the category. The cutoff will be different for each category. The exam is usually conducted in June. And it is the medium will of difficulty. Only a few people are aware of the cucet exam process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
