Jntuh - honest review of a student

As all engineering colleges, the course are the same since long time , but they recently have added a few new courses like ai ml and other things . The one major concern I have is related to the faculty and their teaching methods as most of the students lag behind in understanding them . It's comprehensive for the toppers but the average student find it difficult to grasp

The placement are good , the skilled students have grabbed tremendous packages highest up to 52 lpa from uber , few other companies like MATLAB and cred have also offered packages ranging from 40-50 . But the majority of the students who rank average can only bag a decent package of 3-4 lpa. The students Start getting information regarding internship from the official placement cell from 1st year itself but in reality they are mostly eligible from 3rd year as the companies required some basic level of knowledge in the interns

Regarding the fee structure, if U are an emcet student 35k is good and value for money as the college has a good reputation. But if U are a international student like me then 1.6L or foreign students from U.S then 3.2L isn't worth it . College does provide alot of scholarship and financial aids to the students who are economically backwards and there are a few scholarships for the academic Bright students too

The college clubs are relatively new and are just starting to rise and make their mark . Coming to the fest , it has alot of potential but due to the lack of proper management it doesn't make a big impact on the students. It should be a big fest but it divided department wise and hence the crowd gets scattered but none the less it's enjoyable for a few days while it happens . The lab equipment is quite good and gets good funding , the labs are equipped with latest CPUs with i7 12 gen but the architectural infrastructure is lagging behind as the buildings are old and dusty , few fans don't works in classrooms with broken windows and toilets aren't the greatest either

My admission is done in the international quota . The cut off is based on the 12th board marks . As an international student my competition was very low as I have special seats reserved for me , the process was very smooth. Some problem I faced was lack of information from the adminstration regarding the commencement of the course and somewhere there was lack of information
