Holkar - The Oldest college.

I chose a BS in Cyber Security at this college, The college started this course in the academic year 2023-24, none of the colleses offer this course in the state. NAAC ranked Govenment Holkar Science with an A++ this year, and more then 60% of the teaching staff are Ph.D. holders, they are helpful and best in their profession, i say, so the choice is simple. The curriculum is semester-wise in the majority of courses. So you need to give exam every six months. the coures offers very practical knowledge with the help of field projects and case studies. Exams is not really tough for the students because college grade you with your assignments and other practical things.

You can apply for internship for gain field exprience. College provides 1 week to 1 month internship program for respected stream. but these internships are unpaid most of the time. you can do only your syllbus orianted internship only,

Tuition fees is 22,800 per year for the course I choose(BSc in Cyber security), and the course was introduced in this academic year, 2023-24. But if you compare with the other course, that college offer in similar stream, like BSc in mathematics, electronics and physics etc. it is around 11,800. So it is a bit hire. College provides multiple Scholarship for their students. There is 3 major scholarship you can apply for, first one is Medhavi Chatra Yojana:- If you have 70%+ in your 12th report card you can apply for this scholarship. That is the only criteria for this Scholarship. Shambhal Yojana:_ If you have government issued Sambhal card you can apply for this scholarship. This is scholarship pay your 100% fees to the Institute. Postmetric scholarship for SC/ST Students :_ You can apply postmetric scholarship via visit there official website called Mptaas. I am a second semester student now. If I tell you about overall campus life. it's quite good. The college have bigger infrastructure and buildings comparatively other government colleges. College have more than 10,000 students and 300+ staff members. As a first year student I cannot experience any kind of ragging or bullying environment in this college. College also announce cultural and annual events for students, And the departments also announce their departmental events once in a year. the campus have multiple organisations like NCC and NSS for creating a discipline and helpful environment at the campus. The campus has its Sports Department also, which includes football, basketball, volleyball, cricket and multiple outdoors and Indoor games.

Govt. Holkar science college does not require an admission test or entrance test or entrance exam insread, a straightforward state government counseling process called Epravesh can be used to secure a seat. The basis for counselling is your 12th grade report card. Most college courses are just required your class 12th pass mark sheet with PCM or PCB as a subject combination in order to be eligible. The math and biology groups are the two categories of science courses offered by the college. Application Process- - Just visit the epravesh portal ( https://epravesh.mponline.gov.in ) for fill the admission form. Holkar College is a state government college, which means it comes with a reservation policy for the backward class of society. You can get govt. reservation benefit during the admissions process. The government also provides scholarship for backward classes. The frequency and timing of exam is 6 month. The college follows semester system for the course.
