I took major in maths as i like this subject which does not have any language barrier. But there is not a single PHD holder teacher in my department . Our faculty members are very less . If they hire a new good HOD it will be benificial to students

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college we only have to pay exam fees . Also girls does not have to pay admission fees as per our government guidelines. And we can get scholarship if our marks are good . I applied for ishan uday scholarship which is only north east based

Campus Life

Our college perform many co curricular activities ,annual sports week. Also saraswati puja is celebrated as a grand festival in college. It also has a library where we can borrow books according to the given date and time

Admission

We have to get a minimum of 60% marks in the subject we want as a major. Admission is online but offline is also done after the completion of online admissions. The seat is reserved for ST and SC. But now due to NEP being introduced many more students are admitted last year and there was no online option for admission for which it took a very long time. Online admission is the best way

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love mathematics, and mathematics is the subject I am most powerful in. I got 99/100 in 10th CBSE finals and 90/100 in 12th so no doubt about why I took Mathematics and the teaching methods of the teachers are fine but there is always a developing area. THe time given between exams are good

I liked plants very much that's why I chose this course. I am fully prepared for this course. We have too good teachers in our department they have good experience about plants. Internal Exam timming is 10-11 am and final is 12 am - 3 pm

Most affordable college for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.

Dharmanagar college the heart of tripura colleges
