Course Curriculum Overview
If you want to become a professional data analyst. Statistics is the best option. During the 1st four sems theory is concentrated. Only in 5th sem we are dealing with data analysis. According to my opinion each and every sem we must have lab exams. We need to deal with data. During this period we are learning how to use R software. We need to make skills and knowledge rather than bihearting the theory.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee in our college is 5000 rs per sem. Extra 1100 rs want to paid as our exam fee to calicut university. Those who have income below 1 lakh will get scholorahip. Name of the scholotship is E-grantz. Our fees will reduced into half when we are eligible for this scholorship. Those who are eligible for e-grant don't want to pay exam fees. Total 40000 required for completing this course. It include exam fees also. E grantz, post metric scholorship, inspire scholorship etc.. are the main scholorship we will get during our ug period. No campus placement is available in sree kerala varma college.
Campus Life
The main events occur in our college is onam celebration, christmas celebration. College day is conducted during the end of the academic year. Different department in our college condut different varieties of programme. A library which contain wide varieties of book and journal is situated near to office chamber. Ncc, Nss are the main social groups in the college.
Hostel Facilities
College hostel is neatly maintained. During 1st and 2nd year we need to share our room with friends. Each room will have 5 person. During the last year we will get single rooms. We will get good food from mess situated near to hostel. The hostel fee will always below 3500.
Admission
Need 50 % mark in plus two. Should study maths or statistics as a complimentary subject. We can apply through official calicut university website. To create a good carrier in statistics we need a good skill in maths.
