SIBM Nagpur Review

To be honest, the course curriculum of Symbiosis is outdated, last updated in 2013. The curriculum will provide you with basic knowledge of the Business environment, how it operates and will provide you with good knowledge in Finance as well. There are a total of three exams in each semester i.e, Surprise test, Mid Term Exam and End Term Exam Difficulty level is moderate.

Companies such as Tata Trent, Tech Mahindra, Fujitsu, Finobility, Bajaj Capital, and Grand Thorton are coming for internships. Roles offered are Equity Research Analyst, Investment Banking, Research Analyst, Operation Intern, HR leads and so on.

From Starting of 3 semester students are eligible for placements. Companies such as HCL, Fujitsu, HDFC, Colgate, and SBI are coming for placements. The Highest package is around 18 LPA whereas the Average is around 8-9 LPA. Almost 80-90% of students get placed by the college. I plan to get a decent job from my college and get settled in life.

As the MBA program is fully residential, total fees for the course come to around 23 lakhs including everything there is a 10% increase in the hostel and mess fees every year. Student Loans are also available as college have tied up with different banks. Different Scholarships are available like IDFC student Scholarships. I got an internship opportunity with a company named Finobility with a Stipent of 10000 per month

The Annual fest of our college is Manifest in which students from different colleges take part, the event is conducted between January and March every year. The library of SIBM N has almost all the necessary books and we also have an elibrary where all the softcopies are available. The Campus has Football , Badminton and volleyball court and futsal, cricket ground as well as GYm and indoor games like table tennis, Chess and many more. there are almost 20 Clubs and Committees and all are student driven .

Facilities in the room are :- Ac Table Chair 24*7 Hot Water Separate Bathroom And washroom Rooms are available in 2,3,4 Sharing The meal provided is Okay not to good not to bad, the menu keeps changing each week. For MBA students, staying in a hostel is mandatory.

For Admission to Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, one has to take the SNAP exam, If one is shortlisted then he/she has to appear for GEPI which comprises 60 marks, The Cut-off Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is somewhere around 50 percentile . One should have a bachelor's degree to apply for an MBA program, the application for the SNAP exam starts in August and ends by November, You can find the exam form on www.snaptest.org, fees for the exam is around 1900 for each attempt (One can give 3 attempts) and 1000 for application to each college of Symbiosis.

My GD topic was how Chat GPT is going to impact us in future, Interview questions were: Tell me about yourself, your city known as, why SIBM Nagpur, Some Current Affairs, Any five Indian Fintech, some situation-based questions. One has to take SNAP exam and then the GEPI I have prepared with the help of some YouTube video and purchased some PI mocks.
