Course Curriculum Overview
The university has well curated courses and engagement in extra curricular activities all year round. Here, students also get the opportunity to gain international exposure. It's course curriculum, essentially trains students to deal with real world problems, make decisions rationally and achieve goals efficiently. As fas as the department of psychology is concerned, it is equipped with helpful and skilled professors who guide students whenever need arises.
Internships Opportunities
As for my major, we have the freedom to do internships after letting your department know and approve. The department also helps arrange good internships and prestigious institutions, where we can get first hand training.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is available for students with cgpa 8.5 and above. Merits -cum- means, the students who have scored 60% and above or 6.5 cgpa and above, and whose annual family income is below 3.0lakh, are eligible to receive financial aid.
Campus Life
Iin this aspect, I have to say the university is as enriched as the students will to engage and participate in the frequently organised events. The clubs indulge in a variety of activities that enhances student interaction and their social life. These also boost their passion and creativity. Adinova, is the most awaited annual fest of the university. It is enriched with performances by the students and for the students. In terms of technology, the smart boards work efficiently to help students enhance their ppt skills and other advanced ways of learning.
Admission
The application process includes filling up the form from the official website of Adamas University, Barasat. It is followed by an Aptitude test and Interview. Th application fee is ?1000 per course. The eligibility is 50% in 12th boards.
Interview Experience
For preparation for WAT and Interview, I practiced aptitude questions available on the internet. I focused on language and basic maths. Practicing decision making and problem solving was also a part of my preparation. And these covered for the admission test. The interview specifically included, questions that reflected on my reason to opt for my major and choosing this University. Questions on my future goals were included as well.
