Nupur's Review On JD Women's College, Patna

This college had a beautiful infrastructure which is now damaged due to poor maintenance. Education quality in science department is below poor.you could find all depressed and sad students of this earth in the science department of this college.faculty is not good. except for one or two teachers, great of all the teachers will teach you from the books like they are 5-year old kid reciting a poem.

I was not willing to take admission in this college looking at the conditions of almost all colleges of Bihar(which is not quite good) but due to my fewer marks in 12th I couldn't make it to DU and I missed the application form of all good colleges due to my ignorance and yes my this college is the punishment for my ignorance.

I am from 2017 batch and CBCS is not introduced for graduate courses. but now our college has come under patliputra university and it is planning to introduce CBCS from next session. For now, my course curriculum is not up to the mark.syllabus is old and seriously needs to get updated.

I don't have much information on this as my course doesn't include internship here.but from what I heard BCA and BBA department is quite good and provide the internship.

College events are good though it also needs improvements and more additions it is still good. many occasions are celebrated here. dance and song programs are also held. but students are nor informed neither encouraged to take part in these programs.only few selected students perform and only they perform.

The feasible .fee structure is not a problem here as it is a government institution.you have to spend money only on application forms and at the time of admission which is not more than Rs.2000.for add-on courses, you have to pay which is also not very much.

Scholarship facilities are for students who are financially weak. loan facilities are probably not there considering already low fee-structure.

I have hardly heard any debate competition going to our college. Sports competition is held quite often.it is all girls' college so why talk about gender ratio lol.lab conditions are not good, despite good infrastructure they are poorly maintained. You can also apply for NCC.

Hostel facilities are good from what I have heard and mess food is also good. Single rooms are not available only triplets.washroom is cleaned regularly. It is safe and inside the campus.No AC or Air coolers are available, so you have to bear with the heat.

As soon as students complete graduation here, they flee from here. unlucky students return for post graduation.due to its previous parent magadh university many students have cried tears of blood because of late exams as a result of which they loose their precious 1 year. but new students need not worry about as their examinations will be taken timely.

College releases the cut off marks for its different courses.For vocational courses it takes entrance exams like for BBM,BCA..ETC.From this year 2018 it has conducted entrance exams for most of the courses which are technical.maybe from now onwards it will take entrance exams of all courses for admissions.
