- The 75% compulsory attendance system seems a little bit unfair though it is for our wellness only.
- We get a average mess and my taste do not match with the food of the state of west bengal (where my college is located).
Course Curriculum Overview
My course mbbs is one of the most respected degree in India. In the last yr of course our college have internship program which will give us exposer to the real life situations. I think in the course the main area of focus should be more on practical application. One can easily pass each test which occurs on roughly each months by spending 2-3 hrs of self study other than regular classes.
Internships Opportunities
We get internship program for 1 year in which the interns are paid monthly around 30-32k. I have little knowledge about it as I am in 1st year. In our college the internship program is newly introduced. Saying anything about which I don't have proper knowledge will not be fair.
Fees and Financial Aid
For entire 5 yr the academic fees is 5856 rs. The Mess fees is 4300/ months. One can avail online scholarship and can get it. The scholarship amount vary from the scheme under which one is applying. For 1st 2 yr of course students are requested to not bring bikes and the related undertaking is need to be submitted at the time of admission.
Campus Life
The official name of the collefe annual fest is ALYSSIA which is scheduled to be held on 1st waak of April this yr. One can access offline as well as e library. We get AC classroom with projector and related tech. There is cricket, football ground and facilities for indoor games such as chess carrom table tennis etc. Many clubs remain active through out the year which inculde art club, music and dance club, literary club etc.
Hostel Facilities
In a room we get a bed, a fan, a Almira, a study table, a book shelf in a well designed room. We get variety of food in mess. By simply approaching the Mess official at the Mess itself one can get name registered for Mess facility.
Admission
I was alloted the college after qualifying NEET 2023 exam. MCC conducted the counselling process. According to my score I was alloted the college and reservation (ST). One can easily access the online website of mcc. The exam lasts for 3 hr in which one have to answer 180 questions.
