I personally feel it would have been better if we had more opportunities in extra-curricular fields.

It has a good reputation. The previous year's results were good. My friends and family suggested me because the teachers were highly qualified and it gave me a homely atmosphere to study and groom myself. Also, it is near my place and the timings are good.

The course curriculum is strictly based on West Bengal State University's syllabus. The course is huge for zoology honours and it requires a lot of effort to get a good score. However for general students, the course is comparatively easier. There is a lot of lab work for science students.

I have not heard much of it. I think we will soon be provided with good internships from reputed companies.

It is moderate. There is a placement cell which arranges for various placement calls. Many of the ex students were provided with placements in different fields during the past years. However, it can be made more efficient with time. Overall, it still works fine.

Various events are celebrated like - sports, annual function, fresher's and farewell, saraswati puja,alumni meet etc. Most of the events are organised inside the building. However, many events are performed in the college ground and at a nearby auditorium. Max had conducted a ramp show last year.

Our fee structure is very much feasible. We have to pay on a half yearly basis. The fees ranges from 2k to 6k depending on the stream. Various scholarships are also provided depending on the student at the time of admission.There is no huge expenditure spend.

Yes. Our college provides scholarship to students belonging from a weak economical background.

There is nothing called campus life here. All you can you do is study, study and study a bit more. The libraries and laboratories are well equipped and updated. The college also provides us with various debates and quiz competitions. Sports and cultural events are also celebrated with great pomp.

We do not have hostel facilities. The canteen food is cheap and good. We prefer buying food from the local vendors mostly. The canteen provides all sorts of homely food. Many of us like bringing food from home. The prices are very much feasible. It would be great if hostel facilities also starts here.

Yes. Our seniors are extremely helpful to us. They have showed great care by helping us with academics as well as during cultural events.

Two yearly internal examinations are held apart from the university one. Now the system is changing as WBSU has incorporated semester pattern of examination. The examinations are conducted in a very strict manner. The results are publised soon after the end of examinations.

I had to apply online after my Class 12 board results were out. Then after a week or so, the merit lists started being published on the official website. I found my name on it and went to the college campus. My marks and records were verified and all my personal documents were thoroughly checked. I was also interviewed. This is how, I got admission.

The faculties at my college are highly qualified with doctorate degrees. They also have a very helpful and caring nature. They provide us with a homely atmosphere and helps us to nurture well. Many outdoor practical experiments are held. In my department, educational excursions are held every year.
