Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Bachelor of technology curriculum typically provides a comprehensive foundation in technology, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Core subjects like mathematics and computer science are crucial, alongside specialized courses in various fields. To enhance relevance, incorporating interdisciplinary courses and updating the curriculum to align with industry trends is essential. Teaching methods should be diverse, including interactive sessions and practical exercises. Exams should be reasonably timed and challenging but not overly daunting, assessing critical thinking and application skills.

Internships Opportunities

3

Though I am jusg in my second sem, but have heard about internships from the seniors. There are opportunities if u do right things at right time. Companies majorly take for the roles of development. Not sure about other roles and stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not so bad. There are opportunities if you do right things at right time. Companies do visif our college and some students grab good packages too. While rest are employed by mass recruitment (as in every engineering college).

Fees and Financial Aid

You need to pay 60k during the counselling for seat locking and then rest 1,05000 to the institution during admission, which makes the fee to 165000 annually. Hike is pretty nominal (if it is there). Scholarship opportunities are there if do the right things at right time. Scholarships for females, ews students are there mostly. And if we talk about employment then yes good companies do visit our college and there are job opportunities if you are capable enough.

Campus Life

2

Overall experience with campus life is average only. Do not expect a lavish huge campus. Campus is small with average infrastructure. Your college life is by the friends only at the end of the day. Also, minimum sports facilities are there, nothing big( sports hating cllg I would say). Two fests take place in our college every year, Genesis and Enva, which are okay okay, you may enjoy them. Talking about clubs, there are lots of societies. But very few are super active with the events. Overall clubs are good.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are okay okay. Not anything lavish( that you expect from hostels). We are given a table ,chair, single bed( no mattresses),an almirah each and all these are in a room with space where two people can just survive. Although it is not a problem to me personally, once you make friends, cons will vanish. Food is average only. Mess follow a time table. Breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner are average. You can contact hostel office for the hostel room registration (if available). Also, wifi is available in hostel

Admission

First of all, admissions in BTech are taken through the score ofJee mains examination. Then you need to apply for Ggsipu counselling process through online registration which you can find on the official site of Ggsipu. Application fees is 1200 rupees. You need to go through the process of 3 main rounds , then 2 spot rounds and 1 one special round. Although it may vary depending on the University. You need to be very very patient during the process. University takes a lot of time to declare results. Like 2-3 days than the declared date. So this is the area of improvement, rest all is fine. Now after applying, fill your choices and if a seat is allocated to you, you need to tell your choice whether to lock or float. After getting the best seat according to rank, you may lock the seat. After that you need to visit the college for physical reporting and submit the required documents for verification. And then after reporting you can join the classes.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
