I was kind of interested in physics that's why I opted this course so I can pursue my future in physics As I opted physics I just dont study physics,in this course they provide us many information in diff subjects like EVS ,soft skills ,NSS And many more which increase their moral values and physical abilities through sports , exam difficulty are moderate and teachers provide knowledge through diff aspects

Tution fee for physics - 59150 Mess fees-24000 Hostel fees -20000 At this rate college is affordable for a normal person A student can get scholarship if he scores 8.5 constituency for 2 sem . We can give tution fee in both emi as well as in cash

Campus Life is good enough we have groceries for our daily needs and have coffee day beverage in every hostel alo we have 7 hostels in the university have campus of 400 acers. University also holds smvdu premium leagues.many clubs are there like music clubs , dancing clubs ,etc

Our hostel facility is good there are 4 floors in the hostel I have 1 roommate we. Got 1 bed 1 study table 1 shelf each Our mess provides 3 time meals and 1 time snacks Hostel fee is 20000 Mess fee 24000

Eligibility through cuet Application through smvdu.in which is their official website Staff was very helpful during the admission process and cooperates very well.Their was a form which we have to fill through website which is of 1500 rs per course selection application,dates was 1 August in 2023

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
