Course Curriculum Overview
It was a course that included practical and theoretical knowledge. Whatever we were taught theoretically, were shown practically and we used to have respective field trips and clubs. Hence it was more of learning in real world. All our faculty used to be so good at teaching and planning in terms of syllabus completion and revision.
Internships Opportunities
We had to have one semester full of internship. Me being from electronics background got a chance to work in bharat heavy electronics limited . We got to learn about many machines in there. It paid around 2k per month.
Placement Experience
Our college had 99% placements and it left its mark in proving it. During our academic year, except people with backlogs almost everyone were placed with an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs. The highest package being 25 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
We had seperate charges for people joining in different categories. As I joined through b-category , i was charged 1L 13k per year and bus fees apart from that. I feel the charge levied for the kind of service and education provided by them is worth the price paid.
Campus Life
Our college was always an epitome of cultural activities. We had technical fests and cultural fests for every semester for almost a week. Every day was a day to remember. Apart from that we had many clubs for budding entrepreneurs, dance clubs, arts clubs, social service clubs and many more. I was part of dance, arts and social service clubs.
Admission
Got into this college by jee-mains. It had reservations but nothing was applicable to me as i am OC. I had got enough percentage required to enter the college by ipe and mains marks combined. It is an yearly exam which when qualified gives a chance to attend iit exams. These mains marks were base for the b category Quota in our college and hence i could make an entry into this course.
