SMVDU: The place of heaven to study!!

I would like to rate my course that is INT BSC PHYS HONS: 8/10 Because our faculty members provide us sufficient instructions and instruments to perform any experiment regarding to physics. Physics is very interesting subject if one should focus. Our faculty provide us the best education and knowledge to improve our IQ level. One thing they need to improve is that instead of theory portion they should put more focus on practical part because physics is all about experiments and research.

The companies like : GOOGLE,TATA, TECHMIN, HMT, NATIONAL ATOMIC RESEARCH etc. are offered under the interships stipend which provides a basic and great opportunity for the students to participate and hit the goal. The projects under the physics are like Introduction to thermodynamics, and the outcomes to clarify the tasks is one must know the whole knowledge about the project and is available to do the project by their own which will increase their mentality.

The placement of our college is average. Students from the 5th sem are eligible for the campus placements. Following are the companies that visited here: GOOGLE,TATA, HMT, TECHgium They all provide average package according to their companies. They pick the student on the basis of skills instead of academic performance. Students who has good communication skills are eligible and score high. Atleast 60 to 80% students will get placements. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for MSC and PHD in research field of physics.

The fee structure of INT BSC PHYS HONS course is very affordable to anyone. Tuition fees is 10,000 per year Academic fees is 37,000 per year which gives the total of 47,000 per year . The university also provides scholarship to those who score above 8.5 CGPA which is also very beneficial and financial aid for those who can't afford the fees to help them in studying. The PHD scholars are under the campus employment which give them the opportunity to make money for them while studying, also increasing the rate of getting the job easily further leading to less responsibilities.

The university provides a lot of festivals to give the platform to the students to showcase their talent in many different ways. Recently,on 4 March 2024 Flash mob has held in which the students show their talent in dance and singing. On 26Oct 2023 Titiksha tech fest has held showcasing the intrest and talent of students. Library provides approx all types of books that are knowledgeable and required to every course,dept. The classrooms are also neat and clean and has sufficient bench to sit. Also, in sports the teams are divided regarding to their respective houses and winners will get awards in their respective winning sport. Student run socual group namely VIKLAP which includes to provide the education to the children.

The hostel facilities are quite good. They provide us the room with balcony and each corridor has their own washroom and bathroom. The rooms are singlets, doublets and triplets. The size of room are according to the availability of the person. The room consists of one bed, one table, one chair and a bookshelf and all basic requirements. The meal is quite good and nutritious to eat and provide salad also with curd too. Registration process of hostel is by submitting the fees and then fill the form with all requirements.

The exam which i cleared to get the admission in smvdu was CUET. This form is easily available on the internet and it's application fees is approx 1500 , it is held in different parts of your choosed area. The course i selected was INT BSC PHYS HONS. The eligibility of this course was one should score above 60% score in 12th boards exam in physics, chemistry and maths individually. The timings of the exam was in two slots morning 10am to 1 pm and 3pm to 5 pm. The area which needs to improve in admission process is that the result should be declare as soon as possible and the further process also starts simultaneously.
