Course Curriculum Overview

Curiculum is not fixed every year it changes though some of the subjects are not found relevant some times to the xirebi wanna learn about but there is no such thing being so specific about some topics and it's not executable

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes fee structure is around 5 lacs for general category students for b tech in the campus but there is 2/3rd and full remission fee is also there for gen ews category students and other sc sts and obs

Campus Life

Campus Infrastruture is shit and hostel is not so livable but there are some some creative and active clubs which helps to create a competitive and healthy techie environment int he college and helps to feel the way you are

Admission

I cracked jee mains got 95.8 percentile and get Svnit accordingly to my cousellibg preferences in jossa JEE stands for joint entrance exam for admission in Indian institute of technology and national institute of technology.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
