Dislikes

Campus is not well maintained and every where construction is going on
Not allowing food delivery in hostel, only big basket is available
In 1st year curfew timming where 7pm which was too early for boys

Courses are designed very nicely,all professor are well qualified and have done their PHD from well known institutes and Also helping in the Preparation of GATE, providing perfect material and guidance for the future

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees at SVNIT is about 2 lakh hostel and tution fees and mess fees are covered in this, college provide fee remission if the family income is less than 5lakh it will provide 2/3 of fee back ,and WE can avail MYSY scholarship for Gujarat

Clubs are very nice, Technical clubs like FSAE phoenix Racing and Phoenix Aero, Drishti,Big Big projects are done here, Cultural clubs like,kirdaar, Chintan prathisthan,CEV and ACM , Infrastructure is little poor,Ground is not maintained

Cutt of was 70k AIR jee mains First we have to submit all the documents and physical verification done by the admin after that admission is approved Seat is given by jossa counseling and Csab counseling

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
