Likes
- The academic building and classes are wonderful and the labs are awesome as well. The classes are all AC rooms and smart rooms which I loved.
- The placement rates are awesome with a lovely and great package in my course. The maximum package is awesome as well.
- The campus life is pretty good, there are many clubs that covers all technical aspects, cultural aspects or social service aspects and all clubs are pretty active as well.
Dislikes
- The campus is at the outskirts of the main city so that's one of the problem.
- The food quality isn't good. Even after repetitive complains the good quality hasn't been improved.
- The campus is open campus that's the worst thing in my opinion, like you can't roam inside the campus at night.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance and compressiveness very good. The course which I'm in i.e electrical engineering, the electrical engineering here is one the best of all NITs. The academic focuses on further academic pursuits very well and real word applications and there are many workshops that focus on that specific area. A bit more interactive classes would be appreciated by the faculties here. Exams are conducted 4 times every year and 2 times every semester which itself is a very genuine and the exams aren't very hard and very standard.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester internships process starts in college. Many companies visit our college one of the famous being Atlansia that provides highest package of 83 lpa CTC, average package in electrical engineering is 17.94lpa and it varies in different branches. More than 99% of students are placed in college. My plans is to get a good job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure hasn't been very high rather it's very genuine. The tuition fees of 4 years is 5,12,000 and the hostel fees is 1,20,000 and mess fees is 1,36,000 and there are some other miscellaneous fees as well. There are many scholarships available which aid students in lowering the fees pressure. Many companies visit the campus and even the placement rate is almost 99% in my branch.
Campus Life
The overall experience with campus life, focusing on social aspects is awesome. There are 3 major fests, sports fest in November, Cultural fest in February and technical fest in April. The classes are all AC rooms with smart boards along with projectors and WiFi. There are various opportunities of sports and extracurricular activities and plenty of space and tools are available. There are many clubs and social groups persent like that provides public service like NSS and Sankalp and many fun cultural clubs like music club, dance club, drama club etc.
Hostel Facilities
24*7 water electricity supply with clean washrooms available. Food is okayish not very good, it's eatable and manageable although menu is very diverse. Hostel prices each semester is 15000 and yearly 30000 rupees.
Admission
Well for getting eligible for this college you have to score desired result in JEE-Mains accordingly with your branch and above 75% is your 12th board examination. Application form can be found online when JEE-Mains form are available, application dates varies but usually it's around December and March. Each semester 2 exams are conducted one being mid semester exams and other being end semester exams. Papers aren't very difficult. The admission process was very smooth already so i don't think any suggestion in improving admission process is required.
