POORNIMA UNIVERSITY REVIEW ( GOOD OR BAD?)

This University is one of the top universities of Rajasthan and it is fir a reason , because it priorities the studies . The faculty is not the world class but they know what they are teaching. The classes are interactive if are willing to study . They organize time to time seminars and fests for us to prepare for the real world experience. The only demerit i found in the first year that they tell you to write program in your notebooks instead of practicing it on you computer. I mean they do conduct lab sessions for that but it is not enough. The frequency of exams are every next month almost.

There are several companies that offer internships in the college like TCS , Accenture and a few more . Well me personally haven't got any internship experience since i am in 1st year only and i have worked on a very few projects like i have made a clone of chatgpt with the integration of AI , which works fine. But there are students who got intership offers in first year , you just have to stand out of the crowd and work your way to the top.

The placement they claim is about 70% in Poornima University. The highest package is 45 Lpa and the average package is 5.45 Lpa . The total number of companies visited in 2023 is about 350+ companies and about 1600+ offers were made for the students. The top recruiters of the University are IT giants (TCS, Wipro, Accenture) and other sectors (sources mention Capgemini, Pinnacle Infotech, WhiteHat Jr., etc.). You can also Check the Poornima University website for their placement cell section. They might have placement reports or brochures with detailed statistics.

I don't think that there will be any hikes in our fees throughout the couse. The total fees of one year is 175K but i got scholarship of 30% so i paid only about 140K. But if you get back in any subject they they will remove the scholarship, that's their policy. You can pay the total fees in installments . I don't have any idea about the campus employment. But i personally think that it is quite expensive but i have specialization in AI and Data Science , so the price can be justified.

The most hyped fest of PU is Lakshya and it is a seven day event in which they organize varios sport and concerts. In the concert they invite various popular singers and influencers. And there are many several events like Dandia night and all. They organize various kind of seminars for personality development and making us industry ready. They have a central library which has a lot of books in it . Having a variety of it and can be issued for free with the poornima id . The library has a calm environment hood for self study. The class rooms in btech have non Ac rooms having only fans which can be a little harsh in the mid summers . The class room have projectors for presentations and visualized studying. The campus has cricket ground , basketball ground, volleyball ground, American footbaal ground and lawn tennis ground . There are several grounds for entertaining yourself. There is student council for management of events and fest organized in the campus.

The University also has hostel facilities which is fairly priced . I live in a hostel of PU which is outside of the campus and i have opted for ac room which costs me about 106000 rs . The hostel in the campus is expensive compared to mine . The ac rooms costs here about 132000. They provide there time meals in a day and evening refreshments. The meal quality is decent and can be maintained, but as you get used to the food you might start hating is but don't worry they have canteen inside the campus incase you don't like the food that particular day. The hostel enrollment can be done once you have enrolled for the course, they give you a form you fill it up and pay a advance of 10K and you are all set . Even though i haven't rented any PG , there are several Pg around here which too is fairly priced . Overall the hosel is decent and can be lived inside.

You have to score atleast 45% marks in 12th board exams for you to qualify in the enrollment process. The enrollment process is quite easy fo the University, you just have to go to the official website of Poornima University and fill the form for enrollment. After successfully filling the form they will charge you 1500 rs for registration. You can also get scholarships based on you % scored in 12th class . I got a scholarship of 30 for scoring more than 65% . They give out plenty of scholarship. Or you can just come to the University fir enrollment, they will do all the work for you , hassle free experience. The University conducts mid semester and end semester exams and in between those exams they conduct unit tests called CIE 1 and CIE 2 in which the 1st one will have to be on paper and in CIE 2 you have to submit assignments given by tha faculty. So far i find this University good for me
