The college has well maintained classrooms and 2 restrooms in each floor. Environment is best as my experience in the jain university.
Entrance Preview
My previous stream was Computer science so I particularly wanted to go for the same. After searching all the related course I found IT Course at Jain University. it is located in the center of the city and a nice environment. the good news about placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Information Technology course has got a good syllabus in the upcoming academic year. 3 lab and 5 theory in each semester except 4th.They provide basic subjects(in PG) in the first semester and later advanced. in the 3rd Semester as a mini project, we need to work on research papers. and final will be the main project (application oriented).
Internships Opportunities
The course provides an internship at the end of the 3rd semester by placement department. the average of the stipend is around 5k and above.
Placement Experience
The placements depend upon our performance. after the internship at the end of course placement will be provided by the related department. as compared to the previous year the placement ratio is little down. but we still get by trying others later even after course completion(once).
College Events
The first event will be the Freshers day for newbies. official and unofficial events can be organized. Students can join to Forums which is created by grouped departments. In IT every year 1 event is organized on children's day. You can also go for a college trip as official or entertain purpose.
Fees and Financial Aid
scholarship amount can be availed in other sponsors. but you get concession discounts on regular fees.
Hostel Facilities
the hostel is not located in the campus but very near to the college. every day in the afternoon lunch will be provided by the hosteler in the college itself. food quality is good. rent is slightly expensive as compared to other local pg. you can easily get more information from the reception.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are friendly and very nice, the unity and strength is likely bonding where you cannot see any kind of ragging. I felt so good to be a junior and feel good to be a senior.
Exam Structure
Every semester for theory 2 internal exam and 1 preparatory exam will be conducted. for lab after each program execution and lecture CIA will be taken and that considered as Final Lab Marks with the grade. 30 outa 100 will be IA and 70 is External. 2 Assignments and 1 Seminar has to be given.
Admission
Day one i visited to the college and went through the formalities of course information. then registered a form in online for the course by paying 1.2k. had an interview and group discussion later, and i have got confirmation list that i cleared the interview and blocked the seat. Finally they informed me to pay the first installment fees withing given date. thus i joined.
Faculty
Faculties are good at offered subjects with Ph.D. edu. for all the Computer Science and Information have got one Department. Guest faculty can be assigned from other reputed colleges for electives and workshops seminar. overall detailed experience can be experienced by joining.
