The course curriculum is best There are many labs available in our college where we can apply the theoretical knowledge and we come to now what are ter result and application in real life so that we relate the knowledge

As my college stands in top top government college in India show the placement placement is decent good if you are not getting placed you can go for mtech by giving gate or you can also apply for foreign colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a Government College there are many fee remission available for the students whose family income is less they will get scholarship in tuition fee of college if the income is less than 1lakh they will get hundred percent scholarship and if less than 6 if less than 6 lakh they will get 1/4

Campus Life

In our college where are too fest technique one is technical test and unable cultural fest that technical mindman and the cultural fest is sparsh and as we have the biggest and huge library in our College

Hostel Facilities

As a hostel fee we have to pay rent of a room that is 4000 and security deposit of 6000 this is a per annum and the mess fees is per semester 20000 and mess food is decent good and in room we have been provided one bed one side table and one cupboard

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

For getting admission in NIT Surat you have to score good marks in JEE mains 95% percentile Plus show that you will get admission in NIT Surat For getting admission in any NIT you have to go through josa counselling round

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
