- I like the placement of NIT Raipur as it offers a decent package after completion of the course.
- I like the sports committe in college because they frequently organizes competetions so that i can improve in sports. i got selected for InterNit in Chess.

Dislikes
- The hostel facilites in our in college because hostel are given as per the merit basis you have to secure good marks to get hostel.
- Mess food is not good you have to compremiae with the food.
- The campus is not very big as per your expectations from jee dreams.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am a student of 2nd year undergrad at field Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch . The studybof core subjects starts from 2nd year . It is not very tough study . Professors are very supportive and do not pressurise students for examinations. The acedemic structure is well planned and you will get a lot of free time where you can prepare for your placements . One thing i dont like is that you will not get gap of a single day during examinations , you have to study hard and continuousely during examinations.
Internships Opportunities
You will get a decent oppurtunities of internships, afyer 2 nd year . Many companies visit college for interns , companies like DE Shaw, Sprinkler ,Reliance , capgemini, jenpeg, will hire interns and offer PPO . And also Vedanta for core placements
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is very good. Non cor placements like jobs in Cs and It are offered very hogh packages , there average package is upto 17 lpa. Which is very good. Apart from non-core , core placements are also very good. Around 80% of people get selected in placements sitting in placement. Average package of college is around 10lpa. I first try for college placements, and then prepare for GATE examinations.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for general students are less than or approx 140000 for people who have income above 8lpa. There is a reduction of fees for economically weaker section. And there is total reduction in tution fee for reserved candidates. But everyone has to pay the hostel fees which is arounf 43000, per year . You will get scholarship if you are economically weak and you have to apply through NSP. You will get a decent internship oppurtunities in 3rd year and the amazing placement oppurtunities in 4 th year
Campus Life
College life is awesome , it is a 100 acre college and it is beautifully planned wit secured environment . There aare a lot of clubs and commities are there in our college like, E clell, Technocracy, Sahyog club etc . Where you can work of various events which are going throughout the year and you can develop time management skills and presonality development through these clubs. Fests are very enthusiastically celebrated in our college and you can enjoy a lot. There is a sports culture in our college , badminton court, volleyball, basketball ground present where you can practice . Internit sports competetion os also organised where college select some student from college and take them to another college for competetion.
Admission
Admission process starts after JEE advance results. Ever branch have different admission dates, and you have to report at that time only.Cutoff for my branch , as I am a general category and belongs to Raipur , home state quota applied , i got this branch at CRL 82000. The thing I did not like is that they give less time in admission day , process just starts after results , if you are from different cities you face some difficulties in admission, but although it can be taken care off,.
