What Students Say

Likes

Campus is clean and green with too many trees.
Students here are generally good at academic in past.
Most of the Faculties are good and give their best in class.

Dislikes

Some faculties are too young and lack in experience.
Not too many fest conducted. Looks like college doesn't support this much.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus of AKTU is slightly outdated. CSE students still has to study Engeneering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Workshops , etc in 1st year , which is of no use for CSe students in today's time. They still teach C has the main language which is irrelevant in today's tech world.

Internships Opportunities

Currently I am in 1st year , so I do not know much about it. But I have heard that the college provides interships or project in semester breaks from 3rd year onwards only. Students opt for internships themselves online mostly

Placement Experience

Campus Placement is available for students from 4th year . Companies Amazon, Accenture, Infosys,Samsung, IBM, Zomato are some the past recruiters. Last year highest package offered by Amazon is 50 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

JSS being a private institute has tution fee of approx 1.28 lakh + other charges which sums upto to total of 1.38 lakh. But the facilities provided like an updated library, playgrounds for sports , Labs justify it upto some extent. UPTAC provide 100% fee waiver to 10 students with based on the jee mains percentile. In addition, there is a 7500 semester fee in each semester.

Campus Life

There are a no. of tech as well as non tech student societies and clubs like IEEE ,GDSC , spade ,orja ,etc. The annual fest is Zealicon conducted in April . The library is large enough to accommodate many students at a time. Infrastructure is good as well. Digital library with desktop is also available for students. Books and journals available are up to date and are available in all domains.

Admission

Admission is through UPTAC counselling conducted by APJ Abdul kalam Technical University,UP. Entrance exam criteria - JEE mains percentile Cutt off percentile for CSE in JSS is approx 92 There was too delay in counselling process in session 2023-24 , our Session started in October.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
