Anything we want we can order either food delivery or other.
Environment of college is good and people also.

Dislikes

Shedule of the college is very hectic...
Here only summer and rainy season exists..
75 % attendance criteria is very bad for us.

Course Curriculum Overview

This curriculum includes study of mechanical engineering which covers design of products. Manufacturing of products. It includes very much real lif application as we use the products in our daily life are designed by us mechanical engineers.

Internships Opportunities

Many Companies visit college for internships. Generally internship is provided in 3rd year or sixth semester. For better internship opportunities projects are required and they select students on the basis of their skills and academic.

Placement Experience

Students eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. Amazon, PayPal , Infosys, Flipkart like companies visits to campus. No. Of offers are very much.highest package of present year is 52 lakhs and average is 10 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee increases after few years not very frequent. Fee hike is also not that much it ranges from ?5000 to ?10000 in 10 to 15 years. Complete education cost is about 10 lakhs including fooding and lodging.campus placement is good enough.

Biggest technical festival of this college is mindbend which occurs generally around February or March. Biggest cultural festival of this college is sparsh which occurs generally around March or April. Otherthan these every month's there occurs a small festival.

Admission

Student who has taken pcm in 12th will be eligible for this course.students have to fill the form of jeemain that comes around december on nta.jeemain .ac.in website. Application fee for general and OBC category is ?1000 and for SC St and female and specially abled was ?800. Reservation given on the category and gender basis. Two attempts are taken every year and moderate to tough difficulty level. For improvement students should practice more previous year questions of this exam.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
