Placements and internships offered in the college
Campus is huge 800 acres, buildings are pretty awesome
Faculty are of great knowledge, we can learn so much from them

Dislikes

So much space in the college is not utilized
Situated around 15 km fro town, going to town is a bit of hassle
As it is in Tamil Nadu, temperature is very high

Course Curriculum Overview

They are pretty much in sync with the current industry, and faculty is very nice and approachable. We are encouraged for research as well, I chose ece as it is a growing field and have lots of opportunities than any other branch in engineering

Internships Opportunities

Internships available are company interns, which come during 5th sem. The companies come are core, management, software and analytics And we are also given chance to do research intern under our professor, as per our wish.

Placement Experience

We become eligible for placements in 7th sem Around 250 companies visit our college, popular ones are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, nvidia, oracle, Qualcomm, visa, paypal and many more. I plan to work for a company after my btech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 125000 for year, which is waived off for sc, st and everyone whose income is below 1 lakh For hostel and mess it is around 80000 per year. We can scholarships like ffe, nsp, reliance etc. They are so many clubs and fest teams which we can be part of .

Campus Life

The cultural fest is festember mostly held in September, and technical fest is pragyan held in February. Both the fests are as mind-blowing, from workshops, events , pro shows and many more. In our Library, books from every different genre are available, and the online journal are also available. lots of clubs are there extending into different interests.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very nice, with 2 per room, provided with table, chair, cot and almirah. We have washing machines aswell. We have a wide variety of choices in messes, south, Andhra, Kerala, northetc. Registration for mess and hostel is very easy process.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

My admission was through Jee mains, generally jee mains conducted twice a year, everyone who completed class 11 and yet to complete class 12 can appear for exam. Based completely on two years of maths, physics and chemistry. It is one of the toughest exam and requires a good coaching .

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
