Life at nit trichy

The overall course curriculum for ece is good here in nit Trichy all the course outcomes promised will be coverd and we have very good professors and also well equipped labs and we have mtech and PhD sholars as mentors in the lab

Various multi national companies visit our campus for offering internships to the students and they offer various domains like aoftware, dsa , electronics (digital and analog) , management companies , analytics companies ets so that student can do their intrested job and also we can do the internship at our professors and we'll be guided by them

We get very good placement in nit Trichy , the placements are managed by the placement coordinator and there is a guarantee placement with a minimum to minimum package of 6 lakhs per year unless they ve pending papers, and they ve to maintain a good cgpa in their semister as it is the only criteria for the company to judge students, intrested students can do projects internships in campus itself in their intrested fields

The fee structure for open category indian students is like the tution fees for odd semister is around 72000 and for even semister is around 65000 and hostel and mess fees per semister is 41000,11000 for hostel rent and 22000 for mess fee( the remaining mess fee will be credited at the last ) and for water, wifi, internet fees , and annually 14000 is fest fee and some library and miscellaneous, for sc/st atundeta the tution fees is completely free and they've to pay only hostel fees,mess fee and festive fees

Yea it's quite good , the culture here is nice, in our college there are various cultural clubs , dance troupe for dance , music club , some arts clubs , and various technical clubs like spider, delta , 189dc the do various projects and they are well trained in the clubs

The hostels are good compared to other government hostels , we have very good wifi coverage , well maintained bathrooms and good drinking water facility also, but some times there is a water shortage but it is rectified fastly, and there is healthy environment in the hostel without any chaos

The admission for nits and iits and iiits is through Josaa portal and I've secured 99.386 percentile in jee mains 2021, and for my score I've got 6381 rank in open category, for my rank I've got a seat in Electronics in NIT trichy, the admission process is quite soft and simple and also there are two special rounds also in the final which are in csab portal the vacant seats in all colleges will be checked, but the thing I didn't like in Josaa is, there a 6 rounds and we have to arrange the colleges which we wish to join in a list of most willing at the top , and if we arrange in a wrong way like some better college in the bottom , if we get the upper college in any of the rounds , it ll be locked and the above colleges only will be checked till the last round ,
