Because at my hard work I'm deserve the mechanical engineering at svnit surat. I'm prepared for iit but now I'm in nit. They are very good at teach something to students. All the faculty members are good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Internships Opportunities

They provide the internship in 6th sem in 3rd year. There is many big company's are offered for internship. They give 6 months to get certificate from the company. Internship have some credits. Credits are important for CG.

Placement Experience

Placements os the mirror of any college. In 2023 70% of students are placed. JPMorgan, samsung, airtel, oracle ect. Highest package from 2023 is 44 in B tech and 48.7 Mtech. I do mtexh after complete the b tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees at svnit is around 60 to 70 k per sem. Their is benifit for the sc, st student because they are waived at tution fees. The complete cost of education at svnit is 4 to 5 lakh per year for each student.

Campus Life

There is a one annual function sparsh and they have may technical festivals like mindband ect. SVNIT's library is the biggest library in all nit's. They have club like drishti,aero, racing ect. Sports activities are also going in college.

Admission

Admission is through jee exam. For jee exam their website is available. Timing for jee exam is very less according to exam tuffness. There is benifits for some categories.I'm also take through category.

Interview Experience

No there is no need the GD for the admission at nit. Their you need to give jee exam and clear the cutoff in your category. You need to read the 11th and 12th textbook and prepare for jee exam. They give 2 chances to clear the exam.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
