Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the university is very good. The unversity supports good coding culture and the seniors are very supportive. Publishing one research paper is a must for all the ece students before the finishing of the couse. The faculty helps in publishing research papers.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Glodmann Sachs, Adobe, Atlassian, Jp Morgan chaise and co., Morgan stanley, Flipkart, Uber, Zomato and all the other companies visit for both internship and final palcements

Placement Experience

Yes, there are a lot of placements opportunities in this college. There is no such cmpany that come in other veeter collges like DTU, NSUT but not in IGDTUW. The average package is 35 lpa. A lot of internship opportunities are also provided for the third year students. Companies start coming for internship in 5th sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for every year varies, which usually increases every year. The fees of this college is least in all the other competitive college like DTU, NSUT, IIIT, etc. The return of investment is very high. Scholarships are not directly on the fees for general studnts. But for categories like ews, obc and and other categories, scholarships is there

Campus Life

The campus area is a bit small. Maybe this is the only drawback of the college but not a very major one. There are fess like Taarangana, innerve, jhilmil, synergy and aarohan. This college has a lot of clubs to enroll in be it any cultural or tech club. There is no opportunity that will be left untouched in this college. The overall campus life is amazing

Admission

The admission takes place through joint admission counseling (JAC). The applications are released after the result of jee advanced are announced. The entire process happens in the online mode and after seat allotment, the candidate has to do physical verification of the documents.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

Placement Experience:

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

INSIDE IGDTUW: A STUDENT PERSPECTIVE

The reason I choosed this college is because of its placement and intership opportunities the college is women focussed therefore for females good opportunities are provided and even if someone is in core branch even they can dive into tech for igdtuw one has to apply for jac counselling (delhi colleges btech ) and here the state quota is around 85% and other state 15% therefore cutoff for other state is quite higher than the homestate candidates Candidate should have 60% in boards (pcm) Given Joint entrance exam (JEE) Applied for JAC counselling...Read More

IGDTUW Revealed – A Glimpse into Campus Life, Career & Chaos.

So I applied only through JAC Delhi, and honestly? I didn’t go too deep into applying everywhere else because I knew my focus was fixed on Delhi colleges. I didn’t want to leave the city, and I was only looking at places like DTU, NSUT, IIIT-D, and of course, IGDTUW. I chose IGDTUW ‘cause I was getting a good branch according to my JEE Main rank, and the placement stats looked strong, especially for girls in tech. Other colleges had higher cutoffs for the same branches and I didn’t want to settle for something random or not-CS related. So this was the best option that clicked. Admission process is all through JAC Delhi counselling. You need a valid JEE Mains score, and the cutoffs are different for Delhi and Outside Delhi categories.
