Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very informative. One can can learn many things from the curriculum. IIT helps you properly to solve real world skills and helps in problem solving. There could be more elective to choose from.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 49500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for the course is 49500 for the first year and 47000 for next two years. The ug merit and technical / professional scholarship grants financial ( only for Odisha residents) . The scholarship can applied through the state scholarship portal.

Campus Life

My experience with campus life was quite fulfilling. I found the social aspects to be vibrant, with many opportunities to meet new people through clubs, events, and classes. Club involvement was a highlight for me; I joined a few clubs related to my interests and made some great friends while participating in various activities. The infrastructure provided was generally good, with well-maintained facilities and resources like libraries, sports facilities, and student centers. Overall, my campus life was enriching and memorable.

Admission

The admission process is very simple and robust.The college helps you properly in the admission. The application for the admission can be found in the college website.No other entrance exam is required.

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.

As I'm doing BSc they're not offering us Technical skills related jobs, in fact we're getting non technical job where we're appearing along with Agriculture students and Business Administration students so there's no use of our technical skills at all

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. I did apply many other colleges manually and got offers but as NIST was close to my native place i chose this over others. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
