Likes

Sport activities, lab equipments , classroom facilities
The technical and cultural festivals are too big and good to enjoy ..
The core subjects of the curriculum is also good and that looks so good for me in the college

Dislikes

Some of the professors are not upto the mark but have a high position
Restrooms in the hostel are somewhat not adjustable sometimes
Transportation is too difficult if we have our cycles repaired since it is a vast campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good in the college since it is one of the best engineering colleges of the country . We will be trained for internships from companies and placement processs . Some professors must be changed to make the students better in their core subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit our campus to recruit some of the merit students . Selected students move to the company in their summer time after 3rd year and stipend will be given to them accordingly and it could be continued to a permanent placement . Research internships can also be done under professors to gain knowledge

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple it is around 63000 per semister as tution fee and 40000 as hostel fee. If he or she is an SC or ST candidate he could get a complete tution fee remission. Bank loans are provided In the college while admission for economical reasons

Campus Life

Technical and the cultural fests in the college are too big and are famous and many students around the college attend here .The library is also too big and almost every book regarding the subjects of engineering and books are available for the students preparing for civils exams and groups exams . Classrooms are cool and we'll conditioned equipment in the labs . Sports activities are also too good in our college compared to their colleges .

Hostel Facilities

I'll pay around 40000 per semister and this includes hostel fee and mess fee . Around 8 messes are available for us which we can change every month and I am cool with the mess I have chosen .My hostel room was alloted inside the campus itself and I can travel to class and mess on my bicycle

Admission

I wrote jee mains exam and I got 99.30 percentile in it. The application is available 2 times that time and we can register by applying with its fee. I have OBC reservation. I got 6266 rank in open category and 1286 rank in OBC category. Online verification is been done uploading many certificates and offline verification of my 10th and intermediate marks . I didn't face any issues in the admission process.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
