Likes

The location of the campus is very prime we get exposure to campus life aa well as to the city life too
The faculty of the college is very kind and ready to help you on things related to academics
The campus is lush green and cleanliness up to date

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college do not match up the status of the college
Due to large number of clubs student get exposer but it also create burden on them
Library have no books related to culture and other thing only have subject books

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant but not totally relevante , we can not totally rely on this curriculum instead we have to update ourselves for the whats going on in the industry and learn accordingly but our course give us the basic concept of each and every thing

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 131000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Initially there are some extra charges that are refundable after the graduation and in each year we have 2 semesters each have there respective fees , there are scholarship availabel baised on financial condtion and on the basis of category But i don't get any as i am capable of paying my own fees and dont wont to put extra burden on tax payers of india

Campus Life

Campus life is very good , we get exposer to each and every culture of india and also student from other country also study so we get to know about that's country culture. There are a lot of club in the college varying from culture to techincal so that student can choose according to there intrest

Admission

First of all i planned to do engineering so i decided to give jee . For that i have prepared for one year after my 12th class and in first attempt i cleared jee mains and secured seat in sardar vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
