Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of NIT Raipur is rated good in term of industary standandard and practicle experience however need to some reforms and improvments to align course curriculum with latest technologies and industary demand to inhancde practical opporchunities and skill development.
Placement Experience
In 2023 over 100 companies visited for the placement for 7- 8 Semester student .Placements is very good with avg package of 11.5 lpa and highest package if 70lpa in 2023. Over 75% students placed and rest mostly goes for higher study loke M.Tech or MS in IIT,IISC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee : 141680 for 1st year, 135800 for second year, 134000 for third and fourth year. If student belonging to Open, EWS or OBC-NCL with family income less then 1 lack rupee full remission of tution fee. family income with 1 to 5 lack then have to pay 2/3rd of tution fee and above 5 lack then have to pay full tution fee. for catogory ST, SC, PWD full tution fee waive off.
Campus Life
Overall experience of NIT Raupur campus life if very good , NIT Raipur have decent campus size with 100 acers , and privide facilities hostels, canteen, medical, grocery, computer center, library, sports in the campus. In library over 150000 books are available also internationl jounrals. Eclectika is the annuval fest of NIT Raipur consist of three days Cultural night, DJ night, Celeb night and Sammer is auuval sport event which is 4 days long event conduct by team Saurya the sports comtee of NIT Raipur.
Hostel Facilities
NIT Raipur provides Hostel only for UG students inside the campus 4 Hostel for Boys and 2 Hostel gor Girls. But seats in hostel is very less then number of students and major of students stay outside the campus in PG, Flate, Room. Food is good in hostel mess specially brakfast and affordable.
Admission
Eligibility : Undergrad have 10+2 with Physics and Maths with 75%. Qalified JEE Main examination. Reservation : 50% for State Sudent and 50% for other State student also follows cast reservation according to central goverment. Exams : NIT Raipur Provides CBCS scheme and conduct 2 exam in a semester . Mid sem exam- 2 month later from semesster starts , End Sem exam - 2 month later from mid sem exam.
