Interested in veterinary science, therefore opted to enroll for the same. It is one of the most wonderful colleges in India. located in a city, therefore students get to learn about small animals ( companion animals, sheep. goats) as well as a fair amount of large animal and wildlife cases (Gorewada).

Due to a change in the pattern of the course ( new VCI 2016) the duration of the degree has been increased to 5 and a half years. 4 and the half year of academics, followed by a one-year internship. the internship is to be completed at various centers. There is a monthly stipend during the internship.

Yes, Stipend is provided to students (only during the internship), internship centers are usually decided by the group of students guided by an internship coordinator.

There are a number of job opportunities available to a fresh graduate in various fields. Eg- companies manufacturing drugs like Virbac, Intas etc, regularly interact with the graduates about the vacancies. There is various govt. jobs that are also available to the student.

There are a number of events celebrated in the college. Eg- Freshers, Anual gathering, Ganesh Chaturthi, Shivaji Jayanti, Janmashtami. Each event is divided among the students of a particular year to organize. Sports like cricket, badminton etc are also conducted.

The fee structure is not very expensive and feasible for most students. Students coming from a very humble family have an option of filling out a form for scholarship thereby getting financial aid for each year. payment is to be made for each semester. Fee includes academic, Gymkhana, and hostel fees (as applicable)

Campus life is good. The seniors are always helpful in any walk of life. the gender ratio is changing every year as more girls are opting for the course. Spending 5 years of your life with your batch mates make them a family for life. Extracurricular activities like NSS, NCC, Indradhanushya etc are held.

A new hostel has been built for the girls. The hostel is usually very clean and the atmosphere is very healthy, the mess is also clean and water coolers are available on each floor. The dining area can accommodate a large number of people at once. Food is similar to other mess', Okay in taste.

seniors and alumni are always very helpful. In all walks of life, the alumni and seniors help you out be it regarding anything.

3 internal exams are conducted in each year, out of which the score of 2 tests ( highest marks) is considered for the final CGPA. There is the final annual exam conducted by the university. Practicals are conducted for various subjects and marks of theory as well as practicals decide the CGPA.

During the year 2014, there was MHCET conducted for the entrance in nvc, therefore admission was based on entrance. Currently NEET patter in followed therefore admission is via NEET score for new VCI course (B.V.Sc. and A.H). Cut off depends on the overall score in NEET.

Most teachers that I have come across are very helpful and caring. Teachers don't mind going the long way for students if the students show potential. The teachers are not only available for academic help but also participate in sport and other activities with the students during the annual gathering.
