Course Curriculum Overview
So Niet has become an Autonomous college which can design its own curriculum and conduct its exam but the certification will be given the aktu. It has modified a lot in its curriculum like introducing a foreign language in 1st year.
Placement Experience
Niet provides campus placements as many companies visit the college and many student gets placed. So as far as I know the companies start visiting the campus when you are in the 6th semester. Niet also helps new entrepreneurs in making making their ideas into reality.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has increased its fees for the past 2 years. When I took the admission in 2022, I paid 159000 which now increased to 175000 for the first year. And for the next year onwards I have been paying 117000 which now increased to 150000.
Campus Life
So the first-year campus which is the new campus is a bit small. In first year you will a feel a little bit captured because once you get inside the college, they don't allow you to move out of campus till 5 pm. But the facilities are pretty good like smart board. The faculty is supportive.
Admission
So you can take admission through 2 ways, first based on your 12th marks and other is through aktu counselling. For direct admission, you have to come to the Niet main campus.Niet has two campuses, one is for the 1st year students which is the new campus while the old or main campus is where you will spend your rest of the years.
