Course Curriculum Overview
Flexible time table is the best aspect in the BITS.We can choose our own professors.In Bits there is a unique program known as practice school were you get a chance to do internship and get real life experience.
Internships Opportunities
There will be Practice school which will be providede by the institution itself were we get a chance to work under our chosen companies and it also depends upon our academic performance. There will be two PS;ONE IN THE second year and the other one in the fourth year.The stipend ranges from 25k to 1,15,000.
Placement Experience
students will be eligible to sit in placements from 7th semester.average package of the collage is 1600000.nearly 85%-90% students gets placed.otherwise you can go to higher studies i.e mtech in the bits or any other institution
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee increases evey year by 5%.Now at present it is 2,45,000 per semester.But for complete year it takes nearly 6,20,000 including hostel.IT may increase about 5% by next year.There are two types of Scholarships in bits the first one is Merit scholarship which is given by your performance in collage and the other one is Merit cum Need scholarship in this case your famliy income should be less than 12,00,000 and you must mantain a minimum CGPA.
Campus Life
the campus life is awesome and there will be 5 fest every year.the infrastructure is very good . sports facilities are at top noch.there are so many clubs were the students can take part and give their best
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is provided by the bits itself.the hostels are very well maintained.The staff are very cooperative.the mess food is decent.There are so many food outlets are there in the campus were you can pay and eat
Admission
eligibility of the course is to get more than 75% in boards and 60% of marks in individual subjects.we must apply to the BITSAT exam through their portal.Application fee will be 3400 for boys and 2400 for girls.There wont be any reservations.Exam duaration is for three hours.30 QUES from phy ,30 from chem ,40 from maths and 30 from both logical reasoning and english.the level of the question will be esay to moderate.
