All About MANIT

One can choose a particular course based upon their own interest. I chose this course because I am interested in the electronics field. There is a good facility of labs available, where we can perform the real- world experiments to understand the concept. Our curriculum contains subjects which are useful for the present technology. Even the semester is a bit small. so, it can be increased. Not to forget that the professors are well experienced with depth knowledge on the subject. Teaching is both virtual(projector) and on board which will be comfortable for the students. Two months from the start of the semester there will be mini test, then after a month there will be mid-term exams and finally after a month there will be term exams.

Many companies visit the college to offer interns during 6th semester with good stipends. Some companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, Amazon, etc. visited campus for interns for software development roles. Better to make projects on web development as it is easy to learn and explain is required. One needs to make a good resume with good projects to get such kind of interns.

Our college have good record in placements. In 5th semester students are eligible for 2 months summer interns offered by the top companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. In 7th semester students are eligible for placments. highest package till now is 82LPA by Atlassian company then comes companies like Google, Microsoft with packages offered about 50LPA. Average package is about 15LPA. Here placements are good for the tech students as compared with non-tech students. Around 79% students god placed during placements session. There is also a good scope for higher studies after receiving degree.

The tuition fee per semester is Rs.62,500/- till now there is a hike in this. The complete expenditure for a student with no reservation will be Rs.1,00,000/- per semester which includes tution fees (62,500), mess fees, hostel rent, maintenance fees, etc. For the students eligible for any reservation, there will be a full tution fee waiver irrespective of family income. For the general category, students will income of less than 5 lakhs tution fees will be reduced by 2/3 and for income with less than 1 lakh or less full tution fee will be reduced. Also, there are some scholarships provided by private companies which students can apply based upon eligibility like FFE etc. Also there will be some Hackathons conducted with some amount of prize money.

Here there are many cultural and technical societies in which each and every student can participate. Fests like maffick and Technoscearch are the largest fests conducted in MANIT. In college itself we have central India's largest library which has a good collection of books for all courses available in it for every subject. Students of MANIT can access for free all these books and journals. There is a projector and a board for teachers in classrooms. Also, there sports complex inside the college including a gym in it and a ground for football. Students can join clubs like IEEE MSB, Robotics, etc. also add these to their resumes. Students can expose their talent by participating in competitions(tech and non-tech).

There is single, double and triple room seated facility avalable inside the college with mess for each hostel seperatly. Meal menu is good but it is bit difficult for south Indian's to get habited. Breakfast will be excellent with unlimited quantity. Need to visite the hostel block with required details to get room in hostels. Hostel are good enough which can is affordable. There are also PG available outside near to the college.

One should pass 12th class with 75% in MPC to get eligible for this college. To get admission, you need to crack JEE Mains with a rank of 13,000 or low. After that need to participate in the counselling process conducted by JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority). There is a 50% seats reserved for home state candidates .Should be careful while prefering the priority of the colleges in the counselling process. There will be a mini test, mid term and a end sem exams per a single semester along with labs. All these exam as exams are rated as moderate in difficulty level.
