MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

The CSE Artificial Intelligence course in MITB is fully as per UGC course designed and has included in syllabus what the course demands. All the couse materials and teaching methologies are inspired by the MIT Manipal which helped my take my decision to this course. The curriculum fully prepares me to the real world applications as per the Btech course what is needed upto the industry standard skills required. In fact it enhances several other skills like Enterpreneurship,Speaking,Dramatics,Arts,Sports which is required to enhance as a person. I don't find a reason to suggest an improvement in the course curriculum as they are all properly designed. As per the exams,there are quizzes of all subjects of 10 marks per subject which happens for 30 minutes, then comes Mid Semester exams which are of 30 marks per subject and for 2 hours which happens one and there is End Sem exams for 50 marks and 3hrs per subject.

Currently there is no such record of placement or internship in my college as the first batch started in 2021 only.We will have a placement merged with Mit Manipal however talks are there that companies like Nvidia and Atlassian and Atlassian would look up to us as freshers.

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

As far as I know,I have been in this college for more than a year and there have been a fee hike but it is preinformed before your four years and collge can't increase your course when you have started studying.The rate of hike was 1 lakh for 4 years of study in Btech from batches 2021 and 2022 and 2024 respectively. As I have joined for the course from 2022-2026,I have joined for Rs 1862000 for the four years.Rs 332000 for the first year and Rs 510000 for 2nd,3rd and 4th year. For current batch,that is 2024-2028,the fees is Rs.1958000 for 4years , Rs 3,04,000 for first year and Rs.4.97,000 for second and third year and Rs.500000 something for fourth year. There are many scholarships like Konkani Scholarship giving 10% waive to Konkani speaking students,TMA Pai Scholarships which give scholarships if you get a CGPA above 8 and if you have a merit rank b/w 1-100 or 1-1000. There are two college festivals in this MIT Blr college.First one is Tech Solstice which happens in the month of March-April every year and is a technical event including many competitions of hackathons.coding challenges and many online gaming competitions with an enteratining night.It goes for 2-3 days. The official college fest is Falak which occurs in October-November,which organises a lot of sports events and many competitions to take part and win prizes.Many students from other collges do take part in Sports,Dramatics,Singing and many other competitions.Standup acts followed by Proshow events do occur in the fest The library is fully equipped and furnished with all the required books and has a complete environment to study. The classrooms are well equipped with AC and mikes. A sports marena is getting prepared to fill up the indoor sports complex of students.Also we have a cricket,football field along with other courts. We have proper clubs which impact a student.

There are three types of rooms provided in the campus: First is Triple Sharing which is given you for First Year.Double Sharing Rooms are given on basis of availability and academics.Quarter sharing rooms are also available which is for first year only. Room cleaning on alternate days,Meal delivery if student is ill are the facilities provided to you. The meal is okayish as I will say and menu is also good. U have to register for the hostel as you will receive a mail when u will take an admission and pay for it.Then u will receive a conformation letter. I don't know anyone who stays here in PG or rented a room.

For an eligibility of Btech UG student in Manipal Institute Of Technology, Bengaluru.There are seats for both Indian and Foreigner students.As for Indian Board students. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Maths or English as compulsory subjects along with Chem , Biotech , Biology or any other technical vocational subject as optional from a recognised board,with minimum 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics,Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects Technical vocational subjects include Chemical /Civil /Computer /Mechanical/Electric streams. Application forms can be found out in admissions website of MIT B To take an admission you have to apply online www.maniapl.edu and give Manipal Entrance Test and then take part in counselling The application fee isRs. 600 for all courses and entrance fee is Rs. 1400 for the selected courses. The MET Entrance exam is a 2 hour exam consisting of Class 11th and Class12th Physics , Chem , Maths and English at Board level.
