My College Life

The course curriculum is good as it deals with present-day trending technologies focussing us to work on research on real-world applications. Exams will be held every one and half months and around 3 class tests are conducted. The questions are not so hard but some are tricky to answer.

A lot of companies offered internships like ServiceNow, Salesforce, Providence, Barclays, JPMorgan, etc. with around 40,000, 75000 per month for 3 months. These internship offers are given to the students in the pre-graduation year. For us, these internships are started at the 4th semester itself.

From the 4th semester, Many companies come to college to recruit students for internships, and from the 6th-semester companies come for placements for full-time jobs. The highest package is 56 lakhs and the average package is around 6 lakh and also the good point about this college is out of 300 students in a branch 280 students will be placed.

At the time of joining college, the fee was 134000 but after one year the fee was hiked to 140000. Other than this course fee, a miscellaneous fee of 5500 is taken every year. If we get below 10000 rank in state entrance and our income is less than 2 lakh per year, The government provides full fee scholarships for four years. If we get above 10000 and if we belong to a caste other than General, the government provides the amount of 35000 scholarship every year.

Every year February or March, Technical and cultural fests will be held for 5 days. The library is too good with a lot of books and access to a lot of journals, novels, etc. Classrooms are equipped with a projector but there are no proper air cooling systems in classrooms. Around the year a lot of extracurricular activities will be held.

The hostel is good but the hostel is present outside of the college at a distance of 1km. Morning and evening, We have to go to college on foot but afternoon the college management provides buses for lunch. Food is good and proper internet connection is equipped in every room of the hostel.

I got admission to this college through Telangana State Entrance Exam EAMCET, I got a rank of 1300 in the entrance so, through the counseling process I got admission. As I got below 10000 and my income is 2 lakhs per year, the state provides me the full fee scholarship. If not, I have to pay 1,40,000 per year.
