Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering branch of college is oldest and college have sufficient tools and machinery related to it. The subjects are the same old and no upgradation is seen , they still force us to make ED sheets rather than using modern softwares like AutoCAD, solidworks,etc.Each year is divided into 2 semesters and we get decent break after each semester.There are 2 exams and 2 quizzes in each semester for each subject.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like JP Morgan,Mastercard , Accenture and many more offer internship opportunities after 6 th semester. Around 50% students get internship.companies also provides stipend during the intership period. Most of the students get internship in JP Morgan.Some students also get PPO's from the company they do internship.
Placement Experience
Placement are good around 90%studenets got placed in there 7th semester itself There are 80 to 90 company visiting for the campus placement. Average placement in mechanical branch in my college is around 7lpa and Max is about 16 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for a semester is 65500? . College provides scholarship to 1.students whose family income is less than 500000/year , they get 2/3 tuition fee remission. 2.students whose family income less than 100000/year ,they get full tuition fee remission. College also provides study loan to students with economically weaker background.
Campus Life
There is one cultural fest named SPARSH and one techno-managerial fest named MINDBEND. The college library is quite big and all respective are available at fingertips . The con is that the library is not 24x7 and closes at 8-9pm. There are events going on evry weekend and not only one sometimes multiple events are held simaltaneously because there are fewer holidays than number of events. There are all types of clubs from technical to cultural and sports to classical music
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided by college are not good. The hostels are very old and are in very bad conditions. Although the newly built hostel ABVB Is quite good.The hostel are very much affordable and every student must enjoy hostel life. The food provided by is not good .
Admission
The admission process for this college is thorough Jee(Mains). The cutoff percentile for my branch(mechanical ) in this college is 96%ile. For admission process you have to visit college at the time of counselling and bring all the respective documents.
