Good college worthy of the money and time spent

The only regret is that quality of food in college mess is not good. Rest all facilities are good.

I opted for galgotia college because my friend had studied in this college and always suggests us to join as it has good faculty members. When I took admission here I found out that he was true. Here management is good and the infrastructure is also well developed. It is connected to Noida by Yamuna expressway. All labs are well equipped.

Our college follows the latest syllabus prescribed by A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University whose head office is in Lucknow.End semester papers are made by them and they give the center for the exam in some other college.The overall course curriculum is ok but it needs to be updated.

No, our college does not provide an internship. It is a big drawback of the college.The students have to do an internship on their own.

Placements at our college are good. Almost all our seniors got placed last year. Many companies like infosys, tcs,conzignant,wipro visited the college for the campus recruitment. The average package offered by companies was about 3to4 lacks per annum while the highest package offered was 12 lacks per annum.

Our college is known for the various fests organised by it. Various cultural fests are held in our college and it organizes the biggest technical fests in greater Noida. They are organised by the students and held on a large scale with the help and support of some faculty members.

The fee structure is somewhat higher than government colleges as it is a private collection but it is worth of money spend and also the fees are not so high that it is unaffordable. The tuition fees are about 125000 per year and the university fees are 7500 for one year.

The college does not provide any loan but scholarship facility is provided by the university for financially weak students.

Campus life is good. It gives the feel of maturity of college life. In college, there is diversity also as students are from different areas. The girls to boys in the computer science branch are 1:5 and the environment is good for studies and the overall personality development of the student.

The quality of food in college hostel is very bad.Though it is hygienic but yet food quality is bad and also it tastes bad as compared to food served in other hostels and pg near the college.Other hostel facilities are good like rooms are spacious and wifi is good,gym is also well maintained.

Alumni network is not so strong through the seniors are helpful and may guide you for the internship and other important tasks.

Class assessment tests are held almost every month as prescribed by the university rules and regulations but end semester exam is held once at the end of the semester that is in the month of December than in the month of May. More weight is given to the end semester exam.

I got admission here through counselling of A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University.I had given its entrance exam and was called for admission after second round of counselling.The college also takes direct admission by verification of the marks scored by student in jee mains.

Faculty members of our college are very good and supportive. They have in-depth knowledge of the respective topics they teach and they always keep the students motivated. They use innovative techniques and teaching methods to keep the student interested in studies.
