Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course and the teachers were good. but i feel more teachers would have helped us a bit more.In a practical aspect, there was more because we have to do models for each sem and that was fun for us. Nothing like research initiatives.

Internships Opportunities

Yes.They provide internships for the passed out students. My friends are happy with the internships till now.

Placement Experience

3.5

I Am still a student so am not aware of the internships right now But they are placements to wipro, siemens etc which are pretty good Percentage of students maximum will be 30. Once wipro ,seimens, synergos,HCL,Sub solutions, Cctpl compies visited our college to give a description of their company

College Events

4.5

There are very less fests, technical exhibitions, guest lectures. And they organize fest or ethnic day once in a year(like only in odd semesters).

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually management is way too much demanding from us.for a seat itself we had to pay 4.2Lakhs plus the yearly fees(45000) and for the CET students, it was 45000 and yearly fees(not sure).

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about the college helping the students in getting a loan. But they do provide educational loans via vijaya bank.

Hostel Facilities

2

I did not stay in hostel.but as far as i know rooms were shared by 3 or 4.Not so bad rooms but the washrooms aren't within the room so that's a minus point in hostel and my friends used to say that they didnt have breakfast or dinner. because everyday same chapati and dal curry so I guess it wasnt comfort zone for hostilities.

Alumni/Alumna

I have no knowledge of the Alumni network as of know.

Faculty

4

All the faculties are experienced Architects and we also have civil engineers for the Structure related subjects.I personally feel that the teachers treat us like school kids.Which is not fair for college students at all.Teaching techniques and methods are all good. They use powerpoint presentations, give us assignments to interact with classmates.Very interactive teachers

Placement Experience:

Architecture is completely a solo thinking work we can work in groups as well but if a structure is designed by a single architect then it has a taste of that particular person but if its a group then all will be mixed and have different kind of brains giving different ideas soo an individual can manage even if he doesnt get a placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews, external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).
