- The main issue we are facing here is the hostel facility. There were only few seats in campus hostel.
- Nothing big but there is a problem with the food that is provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very stress-free according to the CBCS system we can select our own subjects based on credits. The subjects we have chosen in chemical engineering are made me to know the role of industries and the various mechanisms it includes. We have industrial visits and internships to get more into the subject.The projects are made on the basis of the core subjects of our course.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are provided from the institute.After 6th semester we are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as ONGC,HPCL,Aditya Birla, vedanta,Barath gas and many more.100% percent placements are provided.There is an average package of 8LPA.Different companies have different eligibility of percentage.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies for different categories and is based on category,low income.The fee structure for general and OBC candidates are 140000.For the students whose family income is below 5L 2/3 Rd of the fee have to paid.for the candidates income blw 1L it is 1/3 Rd of the fee.For SC/ST category it is about 14K.Various scholarships are available such as NSP,FFE and scholarships offered by different companies.Stipends will be given to the M tech students.Education loans are also a option to the students.
Campus Life
There are different kinds of committees and clubs are there to conduct fests.Majorly E-SUMMIT by E-CELL,Avartan by Technocracy and cultural fests such as ECLECTKA by sanskriti, sports fest SAMAR etc.Every student issued with a library through which we get books from the college library. Have the facility of Digital boards in the classrooms.sport fest is conducted Department wise.
Admission
To get into NIT admission it is through JEE main. Students should have passed class 12 with a minimum 75%.canditates have to qualify for the test and score minimum marks to get NIT. For qualified students, JoSAA will provide a counseling process. Candidates have to select and register their choice of colleges and courses. Have to score above 250 marks (General category) for a higher chance of admission. For SC/ST category has a high chance of getting with minimum of 75% comparatively with the general. If the candidates can get alloted to the NITs, then they will need to confirm their seats. After confirmation, the candidate will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and it is through an online process. Later, Documents mentioned in your selected institute are verified at the time of reporting.
